I'm giving one surprise away early.
Well, I was planning on having Lily use Emma's last year cowgirl costume, but when I walking by the aisles in Walmart, this lovely costume caught my eye and I thought it was a perfect fit for Lily. I was right. She loves that she's a "southern belle." She's glad that she can say it now! :) She even watched the first half of Gone With the Wind with me yesterday so she can have a better feel for what a real southern belle even is.
I've been wanting to get practice shooting outdoor pictures and Lily was more than happy to dress up in her costume. It was a little weird walking down the street with her in her costume! I think I got a few glances! ha ha . These pictures were a lot of fun even though I forgot to put my iso setting way down (urgh!) and my foot got entirely sunk in the mud. (I still need to clean it. btw...Is anybody else SiCK of cleaning what seems like all day, every day! I feel like an energizer cleaning bunny. :) )
Anyways, Emma can't wait to get her costume on now and go take pictures. Problem is that her costume involves more hair dye and crazy nail polish that I'm not sure I want to do a trial of???
We put up a .75 bag of spider webs on our house. I was surprised at how far it goes. Pretty cheap decorating. The girls had fun sticking it to the brick and putting spiders on it. We'll be hitting the pumpkin patch in the next few days. fun fun.

What editing program do you use? Curious.
You pictures are always amazing. I wish you were closer so you could take our family photos. :)

So fun! I am glad you live where the weather alows such a cute costume.
I love the close up photos with the flowers. Your kids are going to love looking back at all their old photos when they are adults. What a priceless gift. I have practiced a bit with my camera, but not enough to really make a difference in my photos or to learn anything. UGG!
I'll probably say this every time I look at your blog, but I LOVE your pictures! These are just adorable. You're daughter is beautiful. I also love the ones of William under his toy. Amazing. Really amazing!
