What's great about this 1st picture is that I do believe it is his first smile documented on a picture. A little surprising being that he's been smiling a lot for the last few weeks. I love the interaction and conversations we have! I know I got it on video tape. I should try and get a video on my blog... don't know how, but maybe I'll give it a try sometime this next week. Anyways, he's a happy little guy.
Another thing: Lily was looking through some old pictures of ours and saw Emma holding a film container. She asked what it was. I told her "it's a film container." "Mom, what's film?" Isn't that weird that my child doesn't know what film is! I wonder how different this world will be for them when they are old. I hope I can live a long life to see them through it.
I talked to my lovely, admirable sister-in-law Margie today... oh how I miss her and her family. She lives in Maine now and I can't believe she's all dressed in her winter attire to watch George's soccor game. BURRRRR!!!! She told me that she looks at my blog like seriously every day, so I just wanted to say "HI MARGE AND MOM!!! :) ) LOVE YOU! THANKS FOR BEING SUCH BLOG FANS OF MINE :) It makes me feel good and more encouraged to post more. So, tonight I wanted to blog about something, so they might have something to look at... so I went through some of my pics to find something since I didn't take any today and found these pics in William's little play thing.
This morning I went to garage sales for the 3rd week in a row. I think yard sales are yummy! I just eat them up! I'll share with you my great finds on another post another day. Then we went to Walmart to get Emma's friend a birthday present. Oh my goodness, madness. Not only was traffic TERRIBLE, but it was like it was the day after Thanksgiving there. Please someone remind me not to take 3 kids to this Walmart on Saturdays! Just the lines were clear back to nearly the end of the aisle. Austin went out and helped Joe put up his tin shed and then when they were done, they called us to meet them at Pei-Wei. Everytime we go there, I tell the girls and they respond with a whining "OHHH." Then I tell them that it's the place they get to eat with chopsticks and they get all excited. We love this restaurant. It's really our only semi-regular restaurant we go to. I believe the food is similar to P.F. Changs, but much cheaper. We like that we get free fortune cookies too. I loved mine tonight, but can't remember it good enough. So I went to google and typed in fortune cookie and went to a sight where it gave me a fortune for today. This is mine and I liked it too. Such wisdom in these little quotes!
Your LIFE Fortune: A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. - Sir Winston Churchill --- Be ready to seize the opportunity that will present itself shortly - look for the good in the worst and you will find it.
Well, our Red Sox are playing, so GO SOX!!!!!! I hope we have a win! :)

What's funny about this next series of 3 pictures is that these were literally taken within seconds of each other.
He's fine
Definitely not fine!
Give him his paci for a sec. and he's fine again. Funny how 1 second they're fine and the next they're screaming! :) mmmm....
ahh... my sweet kiddos.
