Primary Talent Show

Being the 2nd counselor in the Primary, one of my main "jobs" is to do the quarterly primary activities. We decided to do the talent show. One of the big reasons we thought we'd do it is because it would be easy (I know, bad reason)! WRONG! It turned out to be actually a lot of work! The invitations, the emails, the publicity, the signups, the set-up, the DECORATING, the program, the calling, the food, the gift, the cleanup, ETC. I am not complaining at all. I actually like doing it. I'm just putting this out there because every time I do an enrichment or a primary activity or teach a lesson, I just have greater appreciation for all the time, work, and effort that is given in our church... for free... It's amazing how much service there is. I am just so grateful to all the leaders, teachers, home teachers, visiting teachers, and members that dedicate so much of their lives to service in the church. We have been so blessed and our lives are so much more enriched.

I wish I could have taken way more pictures. It was a huge hit though! Bro. Chappell was the BEST M.C! The kids all did a fabulous job performing! What brave, talented kids we have in our ward!
We told the parable of the Talents at the end and gave them some gold chocolate coins as they left. These pictures don't do justice of how good the gym looked. With the lights down and the christmas lights and spotlights on, it looked so good. I don't take the credit though!!! Mckenzie, Misty, and Ryan made it look spectacular.
Emma did 1 hand stand and cartwheels in a row. She did a great job!
Lily did her "Cookies 'n Cream" cheer. It was adorable!
