RAIN DAY

Today was another gloomy rainy day. I usually hate gloomydays. It's just soooo DARK! All I have to say is it's a good thing we didn't move to Portland OR!!!!! :)

Today wasn't bad though... we just opened all of our doors to let in the fresh air. It seriously POURED! Lily wanted to go and play in it in her swimming suit... sounded good to me especially since I had told Emma and Lily that I was going to take them to the YMCA tonight to go swimming. But when I really thought about taking 3 kids (who haven't swam in months) swimming and how that is a really really BAD idea, then "swimming" in our front yard was a GREAT alternative! Unfortunately, when Emma got home and got her swim suit on, it started to lighten (mmm... you'll have to tell me how you say that ???) and thunder.

She was o.k. with it though... she saw her scholastics book order in her backpack and was happy just to look through it and see what she could get with the money she has earned. We've never ordered from it so it was great fun for her. She picked out a Tinkerbell book for $4.00. cool.

And as you can see... Lily had an absolute ball running through the rain. She said it wasn't cold and "this is SO FUN MOM!"
