Well.. William has pretty much outgrown his bassinet, so he is now sleeping most of the time in his bedroom. :( It's so far away (really just down the hall)..but I miss the little guy. His room has been ready for him for months now... do you want to see it? I know you do-- so here are a few pics that I took a long time ago. I was going to retake them, but I'm too lazy.
It's been a good thing. He slept the last 2 nights in his crib. He slept for most of the night (probably because his head and feet don't touch the edges like in his bassinet), so that is GREAT!
We went with the baseball theme. Do you know that Ikea commercial where the girl just starts pointing and shouting how much it cost? That's what I'd like to do! I don't know why, but I love cheap decorating. I think I'd love to host "Design on A Dime." I added it up and I spent under $220 (including furniture!) All the furniture was $90. I got ALL the material for $18 as SAS in AZ (and there is a ToN of it!). It's a store where you buy fabric by the pound! I could go on with every little thing, but I guess I'll spare you... unless you really want to know!
The bedding took longer than expected to make, but I like how it turned out with the room. You can't see the pictures above the bed very good, but the one on the left has a jersey with "William" written on it. (I got all 3 pics for $15 on Ebay in case you were wondering).

I stole an idea from Pottery Barn... I painted the ends of the curtain rod just like one of their designs...

The lamp: .50 at a garage sale! I paid $15 for the pillow and blanket to be embroidered.
He really, really likes his baseball mobile. Austin swears by it to get him to sleep.
It was Austin's idea to paint the Red Sox logo on the dresser. I told him we wouldn't be able to resell it... but he didn't care. I liked that Austin had input for his room...
another one of his baseball mobile
I like his room because there's also a lot of special things from Austin... like this baseball bat that he got from his dad and the really old baseball he got from his grandpa (he used to play baseball with it when he was a kid).
a cup with his name and birthdate from Nana. The hat he's had since he was a kid too... he got it at a baseball game.
I absolutely love this!!! Austin made it when he was 5. "no gels elawd" ("no girls allowed").
This is a mitt that was his papas. Bampy made this great stand for it.
I guess that's all for now. :) Thanks for looking and I hope you're all doing good!

Cute... that was so fun to read about everything.. wow, I love that his room has meaning and great keepsakes. I think the sign on the crib is great! So fun!
I need to go shopping with you!!
I love it! Do you have an Ikea close? I love Ikea. Way to go with the decorating.
It looks great. You definately need to host a decorating show someday. You are very talented at decorating.
Very cute- I'm hopeful that Austin's spelling has improved over the years...
