She's learned to ride her bike! whoo hoo! We're so proud of our little bike rider. We went to AZ for Thanksgiving (the main reason for the lack of posts that I now get to make up for!). My family had a family reunion. We had a fabulous time. Out at Grandma & Grandpa Crisps farm they had bikes for the kids to ride. Emma fell in love with a bike that was a little bit smaller than hers at home. Her feet touched the ground, making it easier for her to get started and to feel more confident, and she quickly learned to ride it without the training wheels! She REALLY wanted to just take that bike home with her! (and it didn't help that Grandma said that she could!) We didn't realize that her bike at home was a little too big for her and that she couldn't really reach the ground without being on her tippy tippy toes. When we got home, we were able to take something off to lower it like 1/2" (enough to convince her that it was lowered). And away she goes...
The night she learned to ride, she told me when I was tucking her into bed (or as I was falling asleep in bed with her), how much she loved riding her bike for the first time.
I ran outside with my camera yesterday when Austin came in and told me "she's doing it!" So these were taken yesterday... her first time riding her own bike!

Such fun being so free to ride on her own!
