Today was full of fun things. This morning we we went to a play group at McDonalds with Nannette. It was fun to get together! The downside: Lily kicked her cousin Ellie 2 times (WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!?!) and William, (of all times), had his first blowout! I ALWAYS have a onesie under his clothes and an extra one in the diaper bag... but NOPE, not today! HOW CONVENIENT!
So when I get home, Austin decides to make a trip to Dallas and take the girls to a Red Sox game. He of course took the van which left me with his car that I haven't driven since we bought our van months ago. He took Emma out of school early so I only had William for the night. So I decide I should take advantage and get out. I head to Best Buy as I have a wish list and some reward $ there. (On the way, I didn't realize how LOUD Austin's car is as it is missing the muffler nor did I remember that I have to open the drivers door from the outside through the window!) Anyways, I do my shopping at Best Buy and come out to find that MY VAN IS GONE! I know what aisle I parked on and it's easy to spot a white van. I quickly came to the conclusion that my van had been stolen. It's happened 2 times before to other cars of ours so this is nothing too new. So, I go in, and tell the kid in the front to get his surveillance tapes out and start looking! I, in the meantime, proceed to call 911. While I'm on the phone, I was highly disturbed by another Best Buy employee who tells me I've got to use the other door. Hello! My car has just been stolen! This is an emergency! Don't tell me to use the other door! geez!
Well...Within a minute of being on the phone with 911 as I'm looking out the glass doors, what do I spot? oh yes! Austin's little green car! DANG IT!!!! I was so embarrassed at this time I hardly wanted to tell the employees that my car was there. The employees that I had originally told at the beginning had left to check the surveillance tapes, so I had to tell the employee that I was so irritated with that I got my cars mixed up and m¥ car was there. (man, I've lost it!) Then I quickly left. This goes into my top 3 embarrassing moments! Oh how I HATE embarrassing stories! Good side: Luckily the cops weren't dispatched. (If they were, I think I'd have them just take me home and go along with the story that my van was stolen).
Now I'm home. Austin and kids won't be home for a few hours and William is peacefully sleeping.

very cute little boy Koni! congratulations! boys are fun. i hope you are liking your new home, we are!
That is something that would happen to me! Except with no good excuse like you- I just forget where I park and I always think someone stole my car! Thank goodness for the panic button on my key chain. That has helped my find my car more than once!
next time austin rolls into the big d-have him look us up! we will even let him stay with us if he wants!
I love that story!! That would so happen to me-I''m spacey!! Did I just call you spacey too?? So didn't mean to- we do have the same birthday and all- maybe that explains it. Cute pictures. your kids are all so stunning!!!
I LOVE the story!!! It is very much something I would do! In fact, this weekend someone actually stole (or found) our cell phone, USED it and then once the battery died they put it back on top of our car. I sometimes leave the phone charging in the car. They even changed my RINGTONE and downloaded a song to it. Then they had all their friends calling and texting. Their friends are still sending text msgs!?! I think it is one of our shady new neighbors. I hate to say that but it has really gone downhill here. We keep our doors locked and the blinds closed. Gosh, I miss it when you, the Vances and the Rosses all lived here. I'm so sad that you are no longer here!!! I LOVE WILLIAM's photos. He is adorable and you are so amazing with your photos. Do me a favor please? Tell me what kind of camera you're using, I am saving for a new/better one. I so want to learn to take photos like you. Give the girls our love. WE MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH. I really wish I could meet Will. xoxo - the Segos
