Lily's 4th birthday

Birthdays have been big deals around here... the girls talk about them all year, so it's been fun to really make the Girls' birthday a really special day for them. Lily woke up to a few presents along with her brand new bike! I took them out bike riding and she did so good. She said "I was surprised I did so good!" I didn' have to help her at all. She pedaled, breaked, and got off and walked her bike across the street. She's a natural training wheel bike rider! She got to pick out her food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner... which she loved! All through the day she said "are you going to sing happy birthday to me?" She loved it! Austin got her a purse/bag with a cell phone lipstick and all sorts of lip glosses, mirrors, and other things. No kidding, she glossed those lips ALL DAY LONG! :) Then at night we had a "surprise" for her... we took her to the aquarium downtown. We've driven past it several times and the girls always want to ride the ferris wheel. So, just as we are about to arrive around 6 p.m., Lily falls dead asleep! She woke up though to a smile and was ready to have some fun. We went inside the aquarium and saw all sorts of fish and some tigers. The real fun was outside with the carousel, ferris wheel, a splash pad, a train ride, and a ride that jolts them way up and down. The attendant lady to the ride was a little worried about her being scared so she asked if she was o.k. with a thumbs up or a thumbs down. Lily gave her the thumbs up! We finished the night off with cake and ice cream. What a day! Happy Birthday Lily!
